Lifecycle

END-OF-LIFE POLICY

CSpeak is a cloud-enabled application which requires an up-to-date technology stack to remain secure and functional. Compared to the traditionally installed application, this will require that CSpeak is updated, at a minimum, once per year. All CSpeak clients have 12 months of life. That life span begins on the day of release. To help sites remember this requirement the CSpeak client may provide notices that a particular version is going to be out of life soon.

Warning: If you submit a support ticket regarding a CSpeak client that is past its end-of-life date the investigation will be postponed until you update the CSpeak client.

THIRD PARTY APPS/SERVICES/SYSTEMS

Depending on the implementation of CSpeak there may be third party applications, services, and systems that are used in addition to CSpeak. In general, please consider any third party applications, services, or systems as not support by Clinically Speaking if the author of the application, service, or system has marked that version as end-of-support or as end-of-life.

Workbench

Workbench is the successor of the AppLink UI application. Workbench is a self-contained DotNet 8 application and can be deployed to any Windows device capable of running that framework. Workbench is currently installed via MSI package. The MSI installer can be installed through the installation wizard or through the command line. This provides the most flexibility to organizations of all sizes.
